Harmful Algal Blooms is theme for February 20 Salt River Watershed Conference

The Salt River Watershed conference agenda will include presentations including the State of the Salt River Watershed, light dinner, posters, a social, volunteer re-certifications, and more. It is a free event. Donations welcome.

The annual conference will convene Thursday afternoon, February 20, 2020 at the US Geological Survey office in Jeffersontown at 9818 Bluegrass Pkwy.

An overview of the conference is below.

  • 4:30-5:00 PM – Recertification (current volunteers will be notified if recertification is required)
  • 5:00 – 6:00 PM – Light dinner, Posters, Socialize
  • 6:00 – 8:30 PM – Presentations including State of the Salt River Watershed
  • 8:30-9:00 PM – Cleanup and exit the building
