At the February 2023 KWOA & KWOF board meetings, the directors agreed to establish the Pete Kovalic Forest Leadership Program Scholarship (Youth Program) through the Kentucky Woodland Owners Foundation KWOF. Long-time friend and supporter of KWOA, Pete Kovalic, has passed at the age of 93 after living a full and meaningful life.
